I am working as a postdoc in project 2 “The perception of boundary cues in speech and action: parallels in chunking continuous information streams?”. In the project, we are interested in similarities in early development of segmentation abilities in language and action. For that purpose, we are going to use ERP and eyetracking measures in infants (12 months old) and adults. Beyond that, I am interested in the linguistic variables semantic typicality and age of acquisition, whose influence on semantic processing I have investigated in my Ph.D. by applying EEG and NIRS in young and elderly adults as well as in individuals with aphasia.
